Madison volleyball opens season with sights set high

Madison volleyball ended last season losing in a 5th set against Sioux Falls Christian in The Region 3A Championship game in Dell Rapids. The Bulldogs won the 1st set 25-22 and the 3rd set 27-25 before falling 7-15 in the tie breaker to the eventual Class A State Champion Changers. Head Coach Jill Kratovil says being that close to pulling an upset and moving on to state has given her team something to rally around this season

Madison returns several keys members from last years’ team that finished 21-8, coach Kratovil says her players have fit nicely into their roles

Like last season The Bulldogs open the year against Flandreau. The Fliers already have one match under their belt they lost 3-0 to Chester Tuesday night. Coach Kratovil says her goal for Thursday night is to focus on passing
