Madison Volleyball picked up a stout road victory on Thursday night, defeating Vermillion in straight sets: 25-8, 25-10, 25-14. The usual suspects rose to the occasion for the Lady Bulldogs, Abby Brooks collected in 18 kills, a trio of players were in double digits in digs and Kylie Krusemark chipped in with 21 assists. Madison picked up its sixth victory of the Fall and will be back in action on Tuesday, visiting Chamberlain.

Tiospa Zina hosted Boys Golf on Thursday, allowing Madison and other Region teams to get a look at the course that will hold the Region meet in a few weeks. Braden Eimers shot an 87 to finish in seventh place, Blake Whitethorn and Ashton Nills carded 91’s to pace the Bulldogs. Madison finished in second place, trailing Aberdeen Roncalli by 17.

The Lady Bulldog Tennis team fell to Watertown on Thursday, as the visiting Arrows took all nine matches. It ended a two week-five match home-stand for Madison Tennis, who will be back in action on Monday at the Brandon Valley Triangular.
