Strong Pitching Pushes Madison to Two Wins

Two wins were earned by Madison Gold 14U on Friday afternoon.

Madison took the lead in the sixth to win 3-2 over West Central 14U. Benjamin Brooks had two of Madison’s three hits in the win. Brooks struck out three in five innings on the mound. West Central’s pitchers had 10 strikeouts. 

In game two, Madison collected 12 hits in a 14-2 win against Tri-Valley 14U. Parker Johnson had two hits and drove in five RBIs. Madison had 12 of their runs in the fifth inning. Lincoln Anderson pitched five innings and struck out five.

The two wins were the third and fourth in a row for the team.
