Wrapping up the regular season last night, the Madison Boys Basketball team cruised to a victory over Milbank on Senior Night, 71-49. It was the third straight game that the Bulldogs got out to a quick start in the first few minutes of the game, as they led 11-0 early. Milbank battled back to pull within 5 after one (15-10). Host Madison would put together a fine second quarter and ballooned their lead to 38-22 at half. 

Madison continued their strong play in the third, growing and maintaining the lead of over 20 points for most of the second half, with 26 being the largest lead. Tyler Tappe finished with 26 points and fellow Senior Cody Brown recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. It was the third straight victory and fourth in the last five games for Madison, who will now await their opponent in the Region 5A tournament. The Bulldogs, 15-5 on the season, will have the one seed and a bye into the action next Friday Night.Â
