New Dates for Madison Sports From This Week

After a week where many sporting events for Madison High School had to be postponed due to weather, the school has announced the make-up dates for many of the events. 

The originally scheduled first girls basketball game of the season against Dell Rapids last Thursday has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 7th with Varsity playing at 4:30pm. The girls will also be playing their home game against Lennox now on Monday, January 23rd at 7:30pm. 

Other basketball games that have been rescheduled is the Tri-Valley Boys and Girls Double-Header, that will now be played at Tri-Valley on Monday, January 30th with girls starting at 4pm. The boys home game against Lennox was moved to next Thursday, December 22nd, with the Varsity playing at 4:30pm. 

The Gymnastics Yankton Triangular that was scheduled for Tuesday of this week has now been moved to next Monday, December 19th at 5:30pm.

Madison Wrestling will host the DAK XII Quad meet, also originally scheduled for Tuesday of this week, next Tuesday, December 20th at 5:30pm.

Madison won’t be making up the three 7th/8th grade girls basketball games that were scheduled for this week, along with the JV/MS wrestling tournament that was scheduled for this past Monday. 

Sports will resume for Madison High School tomorrow, Saturday, December 17th with the wrestling team hosting the Madison Invitational at 9am, and also the Bulldogs Girls Basketball team will be playing Elkton-Lake Benton in the Entringer Classic at 6pm tomorrow night.
