MHS Volleyball Battles Top Ranked Northwestern

The Madison Volleyball team battled the top ranked team in Class B on Saturday afternoon at the MHS Gymnasium, ultimately falling three sets to none. The visiting Wildcats have yet to drop a set this season in six matches, but the Lady Bulldogs provided them with the biggest challenge yet.  Set scores were 25-20, 25-21 and 25-17.

Sophia Vanden Bosch had 16 digs and seven kills, Abby Brooks produced 17 kills and Kylie Krusemark provided 29 assists. Madison now sits at 5-2 and the season, with both losses coming to the top ranked teams in Class A and B. They will be back in action on Thursday, traveling to Vermillion – Lady Bulldogs have one home game scheduled between today and October 9th.
