MHS Volleyball Advances To Con-Championship

Madison Volleyball rebounded from a quarterfinal loss by defeating Winner in con-semifinal action on Friday afternoon, winning 3-1 in Watertown. Set scores were: 25-21, 22-25, 25-20 and 25-18. After trailing early in the first set, the Lady Bulldogs climbed back into the set and then used a late run to take control. The second set, the Warriors took advantage of Madison miscues to tie up the contest. In the last two sets, MHS controlled the pace and dictated the game.

Northern State commit Abby Brooks led Madison with 31 kills, Sophia Vanden Bosch provided a double-double with 24 digs and 11 kills, Kylie Krusemark also had a double-double with 32 assists and 13 digs. Madison had five players with double-digit digs. That sets up today’s 5th play game, Madison will face off against Rapid City Christian, 2pm first serve is expected and you can catch the game on AM1390 and amazing-madison dot com.
