MHS Girls take 4th at DV Invite

Sioux Falls Christian held off Vermillion for 1st place, and the Madison Bulldogs finished 4th, at the Dakota Valley Girls Golf Invite on Tuesday. Kaitlin Tracy of Vermillion fired an 87 to win the individual title. Two other Vermillion golfers finished in the top 10. 

Alison Vacanti finished in 6th place, leading the Bulldog girls with a round of 91. Olivia Flemming finished in 20th place for the Bulldogs after shooting 100. Abby Palmquist finished in 29th place, and Eleni Simis 34th. 

The Dell Rapids Quarriers finished in 7th place as a team, 6 strokes ahead of West Central. Abby Greenhoff led Dell Rapids with a round of 96, finishing in 11th place. Lyric Riepema had the best round for the Trojans, taking 19th place. 

Vermillion also won the JV division, followed by Sioux Falls Christian and Madison. Kiana Whitethorn had the best round for the Bulldogs JV team, finishing 4th with a round of 99. Julia Dossett was 8th and Chloe Schneider 10th. 

 

Madison girls golf will be in action again on Tuesday, May 2nd, at the Dell Rapids Invite.
