Madison Wins Region 1A Gymnastics Meet
The Madison Gymnastics team yesterday won the Region 1A Gymnastics meet, with their total score of 136.95.
The Bulldogs had the best scores for two of the events in the Region 1A meet, getting the top team score in the Bars with a score of 33.3 and top score on the Balance Beam, scoring 33.4. Other team scores for Madison were 35.375 in the Vault and 34.875 in Floor Exercise.
Karlie Nelson had the top All-Around score for Madison, placing third with her score of 36.225. Nelson scored 9.2 in the Vault, 8.65 on the Bars, 9 on Balance Beam, and 9.375 in Floor Exercise.
Sophia Sudenga also finished with a Top Ten All-Around finish, with her score of 33.5.

After winning the Region 1A Meet, the Bulldogs will next compete in the State A Meet in Aberdeen on February 10th-11th.
