Madison Volleyball Team Gets Swept at Home

Despite another strong performance from Audrey Nelson, the Madison Bulldogs volleyball team got swept at home last night against the Arlington Cardinals.

The Bulldogs dropped the first two sets to the Cardinals with scores of 25-16 and 25-18. The third set, wanting to avoid getting swept, Madison played their best set of the night, however they still lost 25-20 to give Arlington the 3-0 match win.

Audrey Nelson once again led the night in kills, getting 15 on the evening. Arlington’s Harley Johnson was the next closest with 10 kills. Natalie Burns, Arlington, led the match in digs, getting 20. She was closely followed by Maycee Theede, Madison, who had 18.

Nelson also added a match best three blocks to the stat sheet.

Madison will be back at home tomorrow, Thursday September 22nd, when they host Tri-Valley.
