Madison Track and Field team was busy last week; Madison Bulldog Baseball split games Saturday

The Madison Track and Field team was busy last week as they traveled to Brookings onĀ  Thursday and Watertown on Friday.

In the Alumni Track & Field qualifier in Brookings for the girls; the Relay team of Maycee Theede, Ella Peterreins, Audrey Nelson & Kylie Krusemark placed second in both the 400 & 800 Meter Relays.Ā  Audrey Nelson placed 1st in the high jump withĀ  Kylie Krusemark & Ella Petterreins finishing one 1 & 2 in the pole vault.

For the boys; Kadin Hanscome placed 2nd in the 100 meter dash, Peyton Wolf finished 1st in the 110 meter hurdles and 2nd in the 300 meter hurdles.Ā  Colby Vostad and Trey Smith placed 2nd and 3rd in the discus throw with Trey Smith placing first in the Shot.Ā  Aaron Hawkes brought home a first place finish in the pole vault with a vault of 12ā€™ 3ā€.Ā Ā 

Friday at the Watoma Relays the girls had another good day.Ā  The team of Maycee Theede, Ella Peterriens, Audrey Nelson and Kylie Krusemark finished 2nd in the 400 meter relay and 1st in the 800 meter relay.Ā  Ellie Keller finished 2nd in the 1600 meter run with Evie Boecker (Becker) placing 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles.Ā  Maycee Theede finished first in the long jump with a jump of 14ā€™ 7ā€.Ā  Audrey Nelson was 2nd in the high jump with Kylie Krusemark having another good day of vaulting finishing the day in 1st.Ā 

On the boys side they had a successful day as well. Bruce Galde finished 1st in the 100 meter dash.Ā  Dylan Gerdes brought home first in the 800 meter run and 2nd in the 1600 meter run.Ā  The 800 meter relay team of Kadin Hanscom, Mike Peters, Nate Ricke and Aspen Dahl finished first.Ā  Trey Smith had a good day throwing placing first in both the discus and the shot.Ā  Aaron Hawkes finished 2nd in the Pole Vault.Ā Ā 

The Bulldogs Track & Field team will take today off before heading to the Varsity Invitation tomorrow at Tea.

The Bulldogs Baseball team split Saturday losing to Redfield 8-2 and beating Baltic 10-2 bringing them to 7-3 on the season.
