Madison Sports Impacted By Weather

With the weather Madison has received the past couple of days, Madison High School had to postpone a number of events that were originally scheduled for yesterday.

Both boys and girls basketball teams were supposed to be on the road playing against Tri-Valley, but those games were postponed. Postponement dates for those games are still pending. The Bulldogs girls team already had a game postponed prior to yesterday, with their scheduled game against Dell Rapids last Thursday being rescheduled for January 7th, 2023. 

The Madison Wrestling team was supposed to host a Dak XII Quad meet featuring Madison, Lennox, Tea Area, and Dell Rapids.

A new date for the wrestling meet has not been released yet.

Also, the Madison Gymnastics team was supposed to travel to Yankton to participate in the Yankton Triangular  with Madison, Yankton, and Huron. That will be rescheduled for next Monday, December 19th at 5:30pm

Next on the schedule for the other two sports starts with both boys and girls basketball teams hosting their first home games of the season tomorrow, with games against Lennox. Both those games can be heard on AM 1390 or online at AmazingMadison.com.

Madison’s wrestling team, meanwhile, will be hosting the Madison Invitational this Saturday, December 17th starting at 9am.
