Madison Maroon Remains Unscathed

Madison Maroon kept their unblemished record intact on Saturday, rallying for a 7-6 win over Hamlin in Bryant. Both teams posted three runs in the first inning, Madison would take a 5-4 lead in the top of the fourth, only to see Hamlin answer with two of their own. Maroon wasted little time retaking the lead, pushing two runs across in the top of the fifth inning and held on for the win.

Mickale Dohrer pitched the first three innings and Trey Smith came in for the final four, picking up the victory. Nathan Ricke produced two hits and Joe Gors had two RBI’s to highlight the offense. Madison Maroon is now 7-0 on the season and will be back in action on Wednesday, hosting Dell Rapids at Baughman/Belatti Park.
