Madison Gymnastics Loses on the Road at O'Gorman

In their first gymnastics match of the new calendar year, the Madison Bulldogs went on the road to O’Gorman where they lost 147.75-129-75.

O’Gorman swept all four of the events in the dual, with the closest Madison was in an event to O’Gorman being the Floor Exercises, where O’Gorman won 38-34.8.

Karlie Nelson had the best day for Madison, after being the only Buldog to place within the top five for two of the events. Nelson received a score of 8.6 in the Vault and 8.65 in the Balance Beams, earning fifth place finishes in both events. Her total score was 34.05.

All five of the top placing All-Around Finishers went to O’Gorman, with Maeve Boetel finishing as the best All-Around performer for O’Gorman with her total score of 38.5.

Madison will compete in another dual next Tuesday, January 10th when they travel to take on Vermillion at 6pm.
