After a slow start on Tuesday night, the Madison Girls Basketball team upped the effort on defense, leading to a 47-39 road win at Milbank to wrap up the regular season. The first half saw both teams exchange buckets in a see-saw battle, with the game being tied at 24 points at halftime. Whatever the message was at half, it was well received by the Lady Bulldogs of Madison as they held Milbank to one point in the third quarter.

Kendra Leighton continued her hot streak as she scored a game high 21 points for Madison and Zoey Gerry provided a spark off the bench with 10 points. Madison finished the regular season with a 9-11 record and will be in action next week in Region play.
