The Madison Girls Basketball team could not hold an eight point lead in the fourth quarter on Tuesday night at home, dropping a game to Chamberlain 44-42. The Lady Bulldogs had their largest lead of the game with just over six minutes left in the final frame, but the visiting Cubs outscored their host 15-9 in the final frame to win. Kendra Leighton had 11 points, seven rebounds and five steals in the contest, while Zoey Gerry dropped in nine points and grabbed five rebounds coming off the bench. The loss dropped MHS to below .500 on the season (5-6), as they return to action Friday night, at Tea Area. Action will be on AM1390 and at amazingmadison.com.
