Here is a look at how the Madison Girls Tennis team did yesterday at the State Tournament in Rapid City. 1st Flight: Seventh Seeded Evelyn Graham won her first round match-up (6-4, 7-6), dropped a match to the number two seed (6-0, 6-0) and then lost 11-9 in the consolation quarterfinals. 2nd Flight: Eleventh Seeded Emily Van Liere lost her opening match (6-0, 6-2) and then lost 10-2 in the consolation quarterfinals. 3rd Flight: 10th seeded Bella Maxwell lost her opening round match (6-2, 6-4) and then in the consolation quarterfinals 10-8. 4th Flight: Eighth Seeded Savannah Shipley won her opening round match (6-3, 6-0) then lost to the one seed (6-1, 6-1). 5th Flight: 11th Seeded Callie Bounds lost in the first round (6-0, 6-0) and in the consolation quarterfinals (10-0). 6th Flight: 10th Seeded Christian Rowe lost in the first round (6-0, 6-0) and in the consolation quarterfinals (10-2).
