The Madison Bulldog Football team brings back a nice nucleus from last season’s team that went 5-4 and lost in the quarterfinals of the Class 11A State Playoffs. Just like many schools from across the state, they also had a limited number of opportunities this summer to get together as a team. Nonetheless, Coach Max Hodgen says the team and coaches are fired up for the season.

Madison will open up their season next Friday night, traveling to take on Dakota Valley. Coach Hodgen agrees that leaders will need to step up to guide the team and also expects a bit of a learning curve.

The Bulldogs will play four of the first six games at home and games throughout the season can be heard on AM1390 and amazingmadison.com.Â
