Madison Boys Win Soundly
The Madison Boys Basketball squad used a stout defensive effort to rout Beresford 61-33 on Thursday night in Madison. The Bulldogs held the visiting Watchdogs to 25 percent shooting, while they themselves shot over 50 percent and never trailed. Connor Hivley went 5 of 6 and Carter Bergheim 4 of 7 from downtown on the night, as the two combined for 33 points.Â
The win moved Madison to 10-7 on the season, as they continue to hold the number one spot in Region 5A. They will be back in action tonight, part of a doubleheader with Dakota Valley.
