After nearly squandering a lead in the 3rd quarter, the Madison boys used a big 4th to take down the West Central Trojans 64-42 on Tuesday night. Madison took the lead for good midway through the 1st quarter, and it looked like they might be able to put the game out of reach in the 3rd. Up 12 points, Madison saw the Trojans pull to within four points, thanks to some good 3-point shooting.

Madison started the 4th quarter up 5 points, and then proceeded to dominate the games final eight minutes. The Bulldogs outscored West Central 20-3 in the 4th, and picked up their 11th win of the season. Cody Brown and Carter Bergheim each scored 15 for the Bulldogs. Keaton Nighbert added 13 and Tyler Tappe 11 for Madison.

The Madison boys are now 11-4 on the season, while the Trojans fell to 5-10. With just 5 games remaining in the regular season, the Bulldogs next contest will be Saturday afternoon in Canton.Â
