On Monday the Madison Boys Golf team competed in the Dak-12 Conference tournament, and the Bulldogs finished seventh overall as a team out of the 11 teams there.
Only one Bulldog finished in the top 20 individually, with Jack Olson’s total gross of 84 giving him the best score for Madison. Kaden Guischer landed just outside the top 20, finishing 23rd with his gross of 87.
Eli Oaks was the next best Bulldog, placing 38th with his score of 95. Lucas Mork and Hayden Kane were just outside the top 50, with Mork’s gross of 100 (53rd) and Kane’s gross of 103 (56th). Casyn Crabtree’s gross score of 109 gave him the 61st spot.
As a team, Madison had a total team gross of 366, placing them in seventh. The top finisher, Vermillion, had a total team gross score of 314. Vermillion also had three golfers finish in the top 10 (6th Place Carter Hansen, 76, 7th Place Karson Preister, 78, and 10th Trey Hansen, 79).
The next time the Bulldogs will hit the course will be next Monday, September 26th at the Moccasin Creek Country Club for the Region 1A Boys Golf Tournament.
