Last night, the Madison Boys Basketball team got their first win of the season in dominating fashion, getting a 76-42 victory over Deubrook.
It took a few minutes for the Bulldogs to heat up, but once they finally got on the board, it was difficult for the Dolphins to keep them off. Madison was able to win in a number of ways, with almost everything working to their advantage.
They had success with Aiden Jensen in the post, using his size to help get rebounds and points. Other big player, Ben Brooks, was able to help keep the offense in check and facilitate at the point guard position, while players like Andrew Comes and Shane Veenhoff had success from beyond the arc, including Veenhoffs last second three-pointer to end the first half.
The Bulldogs had success in transition all night as well, both offensively and defensively.
Madison will be looking to build off of their momentum tomorrow afternoon when they host their first game of the season, hosting Lennox at 4:30pm. The game tomorrow can be heard on AM 1390 or online at AmazingMadison.com.
