Madison Boys Basketball Wins Second Straight, Girls Drop Second Game in a Row

The Madison Bulldogs basketball hosted Tri-Valley last night in a doubleheader.

The girls started the doubleheader at Madison High School Gym. The Lady Bulldogs ran into a tough defense in Tri-Valley, losing 47-16. Zoey Gerry had 11 points and four rebounds. Against the Mustangs, Madison had another 20+ turnovers. The team shot six of 31 for the game. The team dropped to 1-2.

In the second half of the doubleheader, the Madison boys basketball team kept rolling, winning 56-38 against Tri-Valley. Their defense kept the Mustangs scoring to a minimum, allowing single digit points in three of the four quarters. Aiden Jensen reached a double double, scoring 24 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. He also rejected 2 shots. Nate Ricke contributed 12 points. This improves the Bulldogs to 2-0.

Both teams head to Lennox for a doubleheader Thursday night, starting at 6:30 p.m.
