Madison boys basketball will open the 2019-2020 season Saturday afternoon, hosting Elk Point/Jefferson as part of a doubleheader at Madison High School. The Madison boys are coming off a 7th place finish at last years’ Class A State tournament, in the first year under head coach Jeff Larsen.

Two starters from last years’ team return for the Bulldogs this year, and Larsen says the team has quickly settled into their new roles.

The Bulldogs will look to continue their winning ways against Elk Point/Jefferson on Saturday. Madison has won six games in a row over the Huskies, including last years’ 60-54 win. But, with four returning starters, Larsen says EPJ will be a good opening test for the Bulldogs.

The Madison boys play the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday, that begins and 3:45 with the girls match-up. Both games can be heard on AM 1390. You can also find the video stream on the Madison Sports page, at AmazingMadison.com
