Traveling to take on Sioux Falls Christian on Friday night, Madison Basketball saw themselves on the short end of the stick in both of their games, as the girls lost 55-33 and the boys 64-51. In the girls game, the two sides played to an 11 all tie after the first quarter and the host Chargers held a modest 24-19 halftime advantage. The Lady Bulldogs, unfortunately, went cold in the third quarter as they failed to score, allowing for SFC to take a hold of the contest and the win. Zoey Gerry had 24 points, as Madison fell to 5-5 on the season and will travel to Chamberlain on Tuesday.

In the second game, both sides came out shooting well and were tied at 20’s through the first eight minutes. Sioux Falls Christian outscored the Bulldogs by 8 in the second quarter and held Madison at check throughout the second half. Aspen Dahl led all scorers with 19 points, Carter Bergheim had 13 and Connor Hively finished with 11. Madison will look to rebound from back to back losses as they welcome in Chamberlain on Tuesday night.Â
