Jensen’s Monster Night Gets Madison Basketball Back on Track
Madison held off a comeback from Elkton-Lake Benton and the Bulldogs defeated the Elks in the 28th Annual Michael J. Entringer Boys Classic 56-50 last Friday. The win marks the seventh straight win for Madison in the annual classic. Aiden Jensen was selected as the game’s MVP. Jensen scored 21 points and grabbed an Entringer Classic record-tying 17 rebounds. He also added four blocks. Aspen Dahl also dropped 16 points. The Bulldogs improved to 3-2 and will play Tea Area Friday.
The Madison girls basketball team lost to Sioux Valley 63-38 in the Pentagon Classic in Sioux Falls last Friday. After earning the win in the first game of the year, the Lady Bulldogs have dropped five straight. The team has a chance to turn it around this Tuesday against Arlington.
