Jensen Scores Season High in Bulldogs Seventh Win

In the Dak XII/NEC Clash on Saturday, Madison Bulldogs Aiden Jensen scored a season-high 41 points as Madison beat Tiospa Zina 74-48.

The game was competitive early, with three lead changes in the first half, but Madison was able to score 20 points in each of the first two quarters to take a 40-29 lead into halftime.

Coming out of halftime, the Bulldogs were able to extend their lead to 59-35 after only allowing six points in the third quarter. Madison closed it out in the final quarter, outscoring Tiospa Zina in the fourth 15-13 on their way to a 74-48 victory.

The win over Tiospa Zina was Madison’s sixth win in their last seven games as they improved their record this season  to 7-5.

Aiden Jensen led the Bulldogs with 41 points and 14 rebounds, securing his fifth double-double of the season. It was also the sixth time this season that Jensen scored more than 20 points, and most points he scored in a game since getting 39 points against Dell Rapids.

Jensen also had four steals. 

Ben Brooks scored 11 points for Madison, and dished out nine assists, and grabbed six rebounds. Andrew Comes, Eli Barger, and Chuck Callahan all ended the night with six points. 

Nate Thompson led Tiospa Zina with 15 points and two rebounds.
