In a Class A Girls Basketball game on Monday in Madison, the Lady Bulldogs rally fell a few possessions short in a 56-45 loss to Flandreau. The visiting Fliers scored a bucket earlier in the fourth quarter to hold a 17 point advantage at 46-29. Over the next four to five minutes, Madison used an 11-0 run to pull within six points, but the Fliers hit a couple of dagger three’s to keep the Lady Bulldogs from coming all the way back.

Zoey Gerry once again was the leading scorer for Madison, as she finished with 18 points and Audrey Nelson had 10. Flandreau was led by Claire Sheppard’s game high 20. The Lady Bulldogs, who fell to 5-11, will be back in action this upcoming Saturday versus Canton.
