Dylan Gerdes Named KJAM & Go Go Burritos MHS Athlete of the Week

This newest recipient of the KJAM and Go Go Burritos MHS “Athlete of the Week” award is Madison junior Dylan Gerdes. Last week, Gerdes helped lead the Bulldog boys Cross Country team to a win at the McCook Central Invite. Gerdes finished in 2nd place individually, with a time of 17-minutes, 34-seconds. 

Gerdes had opened the season in August with a 4th place finish at the John Collignon Invite. 

KJAM Radio and Go Go Burritos in Madison will present the “Athlete of the Week” award to one MHS student athlete for his or her performance. Each winner will receive a gift certificate for a Go Go Burritos Family meal deal. 

Gerdes and the Bulldog Cross Country Teams travel to Garretson today for the Jesse James Invite. Also this week, the volleyball team will host Sioux Falls Christian tonight, Lennox Thursday, and Northwestern on Saturday. Boys golf is in Lennox today, while the girls tennis team hosts Aberdeen and Vermillion this afternoon. Friday, the Bulldog football team will travel to Custer.
