Renewing their rival on Thursday night, the Quarriers of Dell Rapids overcame a 10 point first half deficit to defeat Madison 64-54. The Bulldogs held a 6 point halftime advantage, thanks to holding Dells to a 26 percent shooting clip. A sluggish third quarter gave way to an up and down fourth quarter. The Quarriers outscored the Bulldogs 35-19 in the final frame, thwarting a few late Madison runs to preserve the victory.

It ended up being a tale of two halves, with Dell Rapids shooting 61 percent in the second half and also hitting key free throws.
