Dahl strikes out 13 in Bulldogs win

Aspen Dahl struck out 13 batters, and the Madison Bulldogs offense put up 6 runs in the 6th inning of an 11-1 win over Howard on Wednesday night. Dahl gave up just one run on 4 hits on the mound for Madison, and added two hits at the plate. 

Madison put up 11 runs on nine hits. Trey Smith led the way with 3 hits, 3 runs, and 2 RBI. Calvin Kelsey had three of the Bulldogs nine stolen bases. Jared Kennington had a hit and 2 RBI as well. 

Luke Koepsell took the loss for Howard, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out seven. 

The Bulldogs are now 8-3, and will play three more games this Sunday, taking on Miller, Groton, and Castlewood.
