Canova, Salem, and Flandreau Cardinals win Thursday in the Cornbelt

The Madison Broncos fell to 1-4 in the Cornbelt this year, with a 17-2 loss to the Salem Cubs. Madison trailed 5-2 before the Cubs ended the game quickly with a 12 run 6th inning. 

The Canova Gang is now 3-1 in the Cornbelt, after last nights 19-3 win of the Flandreau Blue Teal. Jared Miller hit two home runs and drove in six. Caleb Carmichael added 3 hits and 4 RBI. 

The Flandreau Cardinals scored 5 times in the 5th inning, and beat the Humboldt/Hartford Wood Ducks 10-3. JaColby Anderson got the win for Flandreau, striking out 11 over 6 innings. At the plate, Anderson walked three times and hit a 3-run home run. The Cardinals are now 2-1 in Cornbelt play.Â
