The Madison Bulldogs wrestling team competed in the Ken Ruml Invitational over the weekend, and the Bulldogs had two first place finishes at the invite.

Wyatt Pickard (106lb) was one of the two Bulldogs to place first at the Ken Ruml Invite. He won his quarterfinal and semifinal matches by fall, and then won his first place match over Daniel Dorsey (Mt. Vernon/Plankinton/Corsica-Stickney) by a 9-3 decision. 

The other first place finish for Madison was Caleb Hodges (138lb). Hodges won his first match by a tech fall before winning his second match by fall. Then in the semifinal, Hodges won on a 8-4 decision before winning his first place match against Kaden Holzbauer (Parkston) in a 5-1 decision. 

Other finishes for Madison were Tayt Gran (285) placing second, Cole Klingbile (285lb) in third, and both Seth Arntzen (285) and Carson Wolf (132lb) finishing in fourth.

The Bulldogs will next wrestle tomorrow when they host the Dak XII Quad meet where they will wrestle against both Lennox and Tea Area. The meet starts at 5:30pm tomorrow night.
