Bulldogs score late to beat Elkton

Madison High School Baseball scored 5 runs in the final two innings to pick up a 10-5 win over the Elkton Blue Sox on Thursday. The Bulldogs started their rally with two out in the 5th. Aspen Dahl and Payton Wolf each singled, then came around to score on an error and a wild pitch. A two out rally started again in the 7th. Mikahel Dohrer walked and Carrson Wolf reached on error, then both scored on a double from Dahl. Another single from Payton Wolf drove in Aspen, and clinched the 10-5 win. 

Dahl finished 3-for-4 at the plate, with 3 RBI and 4 runs scored. Payton Wolf and Jared Kennington also drove in 3 runs for the Bulldogs. Dahl also picked up the win, striking out 11 batters in 5 innings. Nate Ricke pitched two scoreless innings to earn the save. 

Madison is now 9-4 on the season. The Bulldogs will host Miller on Saturday.
