Bulldog JV Baseball team Wins Two in Doubleheader with Brandon Valley

Madison JV traveled to Brandon Valley last night for a double header and came away with 2 wins.  In the first game,  Lucas Mork was brilliant on the pitcher’s mound on Thursday, as Mork threw a no-hitter to lead Madison JV past Brandon Valley 14-0.

Madison Bulldogs JV put up six runs in the second inning. Jack Olson, Braxton Bjorklund, Mork, and Jared Kennington each had RBIs in the big inning. Mork led things off on the mound for the Bulldogs JV. The pitcher allowed no hits and no runs over five innings, striking out five and walking one.Lucas Johnson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead  the Madison JV in hits.

In the second game the  Bulldogs JV took the lead late and defeated Brandon Valley 11-3.  Thomas Mechels took the win for Madison Bulldogs JV. The righthander lasted five innings, allowing one hit and three runs while striking out seven. Braxton Bjorklund threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Bjorklund recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Madison JV. The  Bulldogs JV tallied nine hits. Jared Kennington and Jordan Pedersen all had multiple hits for Madison Bulldogs JV. Kennington went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Bulldogs JV in hits. 

The Bulldog JV baseball team will host Harrisburg tomorrow at Baughman-Belatti Park.  The first game gets underway at noon.
