Bulldog JV Baseball Loses Both in Doubleheader

The Madison Bulldog JV Baseball team lost both ends of a double header Thursday to SF Lincoln. 

In the first game the Bulldogs JV fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 13-1 loss.  They struggled to contain the high-powered offense of SF Lincoln, giving up 13 runs.  Braxton Bjorklund took the loss for the Bulldogs JV. Bjorklund lasted three and a third innings, allowing two hits and eight runs while striking out six.They tallied six hits in the loss. Carson Wolf and Addison Gehrels each collected two hits to lead the Madison Bulldogs JV

In the second game of the double header the Madison Bulldogs JV squad fell behind early in a 10-6 loss to SF Lincoln.  Despite the loss,  the Bulldogs JV did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, SF Lincoln had 12 hits on the way to victory. Ben Brooks took the loss for Madison. The righthander went three innings, allowing six runs on nine hits, striking out three and didn’t allow a walk. Madison  JV totaled eight hits in the game.  Bjorklund and Brooks each managed two hits to lead Madison JV.

The Bulldogs JV squad will travel to Brandon Valley for a double header on Saturday. The games are set for 1pm and 3pm.
