Bulldog Baseball on five game winning streak after win over Hanson

The Madison Bulldogs Baseball team out slugged Hanson over the weekend, and improved their record to 5-2 in the process. The Bulldogs erupted for 4 runs in the top of the 1st, on their way to a 13-2 win.

Every starter reached base at least once, either by way of one of the Bulldogs 11 hits, or their 8 walks. Hayden Kane had two hits, two runs, and an RBI. Aspen Dahl drove in three with a home run. Lucas Mork and Lucas Johnson each tossed three innings, combining to strike out 11 Hanson batters.

Madison’s game scheduled for Monday against Sioux Falls Roosevelt was canceled. Next up for the Bulldogs is trip to Sioux Valley on Wednesday, followed by a pair of games at home on Saturday vs. Redfield and Baltic, and games on the road Sunday vs. Groton and Hamlin.
