Brooks throws, runs, and catches his way to four TD’s in MHS win over Vermillion

The MHS football team scored three touchdowns in the 2nd quarter, and overpowered Vermillion for a 28-7 homecoming win on Friday. Ben Brooks caught 2 TD passes from Cohn Hahn, ran for a 31 yard score, and threw a 19 yard TD to Jordan Pedersen. 

Hahn finished the game 17-22 for 124 yards, 2 TD’s and 2 interceptions. Caleb Hodges ran for 90 yards as Madison racked up 324 total yards as a team, while holding Vermillion to 99.  

Shane Veenhof returned to the lineup to pick off two passes. Caleb Petterson and Cale Johnson also had interceptions for the Bulldogs.

Madison will travel to #1 ranked Sioux Falls Christian on Friday.Â
