For the second week in-a-row, the Madison Bulldogs were unable to match the momentum swing on the gridiron, as they dropped a game to Brookings 43 to 14. One theme remained in place, as Madison scored on their first offensive drive – a 3 play 61-yard strike to go up 7-0 with just over a minute gone by in the first quarter. The Bulldogs would add another touchdown later on in the first, a touchdown run from Chris Reece.

Brookings then went to work, answering with a touchdown on their next drive and tied the game up in the second quarter. Madison would lose their starting quarterback late in the first half, and found themselves down 16-14 at the break. It was all Bobcats in the second half, as the host squad would pick up two defensive touchdowns to cruise to the victory.

The offense for Madison came to a screeching halt after the first quarter, as they finished with 230 yards in the contest, compared to 366 for Brookings. The Bulldogs will look to right the ship this upcoming Friday at Trojan Field, welcoming inTea Area for Dak XII match-up.
