Madison Gold shuts-out Salem-Montrose in I-29 League title game rematch

Madison Gold 16U Baseball shutout Salem-Montrose for the second time in 3 days, winning 10-0 on Tuesday night. Ashton Nills and Braden Eimers combined to give up just 3 hits while leaving 2 runners on base for their 7th consecutive win.

A scoreless 1st was the set-up for Madison Gold to score in the next 4 innings, including a 5-run 3rd. Salem-Montrose did not help their cause with 7 errors defensively and their bats were unable to reach via base on balls.

Nills got the win on the mound and had one of Madison Gold’s two hits. Braden Eimers drove in 3 runs, and Sam Olson and Ethan Buskness each had an RBI. Madison Gold is 7-0 and will remain at home to face Tri-Valley White.
