The Madison City Commission holds its regular weekly meeting today. On the agenda for the commission is a grant application for the state Department of Agriculture Wildland Fire Division for volunteer fire assistance, and a proposal from Hydro-Klean to remove deposits and protruding taps from the sanitary sewer for televising.
Commissioners will also authorize the mayor to sign a change order for D&G Concrete Construction for the Washington Avenue reconstruction project, and approve first reading of an ordinance on prohibited wastes. The commission will also canvass the recount of votes in the city’s Mayoral election, and award the bid for the construction of underground electric primary, secondary, service and street light circuitry.
These items and more make up the agenda for the Madison City Commission. The commission meets at 5:30 today in the commission room in Madison City Hall.
