The Madison Central School Board holds its regular and annual board meetings later today. On the agenda for the regular meeting is a real estate purchase agreement and demolition agreement, along with a budget amendment for 2019-2020.
After the regular meeting is the board’s annual meeting, which includes the swearing in of board members Tom Farrell, Angi Kappenman, and Keith Bundy for three-year terms. The board will elect its president and vice-president for the next year, and take care of several other items of annual business. Also on the agenda is the first reading of proposed changes to the district’s policy on gate receipts, admissions, and participation fees, as well as policies on free admissions and executive sessions. Board members will also consider approving the bussing proposal from the Oldham-Ramona, Rutland, and Chester School Districts, and discuss a date for the board’s planning and goal setting retreat.
