A Madison man will serve time in the state penitentiary on a felony drug charge. 25-year-old Devin Woodhouse was sentenced this week in Lake County Circuit Court on one felony count of Unauthorized Ingestion of a Controlled Drug or Substance. Circuit Judge Patrick Pardy sentenced Woodhouse to serve three years in the state penitentiary, but suspended the full penitentiary time based on several conditions. Judge Pardy said some of those conditions include that Woodhouse serve 30 days in the state penitentiary, and pay fine, costs and restitution totaling close to 700-dollars. He also must pay his court-appointed attorney’s fees, among other conditions. Judge Pardy said this sentence for Woodhouse will be served consecutive to what he is currently serving on another charge.
