Wire files petition for Madison City Commission

Another nominating petition has been filed for this year’s Madison City Commission election.  The Madison City Finance Office reported that Jerae Wire submitted his signed petition on Friday.  Wire is running for re-election to his seat on the Madison City Commission.  Current commissioner Adam Shaw has also filed his nominating petition for re-election.  

There are two seats open on the Madison City Commission this year, as well as on the Madison Central School Board.  All city commissioners and school board members serve three year terms.  

Petitions for the Madison City Commission, as well as the Madison Central School Board, election are due to their respective offices by February 24th.  A joint city and school board election is scheduled for April 11th.
