Wenks receive MCSEF’s Friend of Foundation Award

The Madison Central School Educational Foundation recently named the recipient of its Friend of the Foundation Award.  The award is presented at the Foundation’s annual Big Apple dinner event and honors longtime supporters of the Foundation. 

This year’s recipients of the Friend of the Foundation award are Bud and Marcia Wenk of Madison. 

The Foundation recognized the Wenks for their early monetary support of the organization, and Marcia Wenk’s support in getting the Foundation developed.  

Not only were the Wenks the first donors to the Education Foundation, but they also continually donated to the Foundation for subsequent years and contribute to their endowment as well.  Foundation Executive Director Renae Prostrollo said that Bud and Marcia Wenk also go above and beyond by funding camp experiences for students who fall between the definitions of Foundation support.
