One new positive COVID-19 case is being reported in Lake County Wednesday.  The state Department of Health reports Lake County now has 109 total positive COVID-19 cases, with 97 of them recovered, and six deaths.  This puts the number of active cases in the county currently at six.  

Statewide, there are 66 new positive coronavirus cases Wednesday and one new death reported.  The state’s total number of virus-related deaths is now at 162.  Active cases in the state remain at more than 15-hundred, and 58 people are currently hospitalized. 

Other counties in our area with active COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday include Brookings County with 33, Moody County with six, McCook County with five active cases, and Kingsbury County with three.
