Another 28 COVID-19 deaths are being reported in the state today (Wednesday).  This puts the state’s total number of virus-related deaths at 849.  In our area, one of the deaths was reported in Miner County. 

Overall, close to 13-hundred new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported statewide.  Active cases decreased to just more than 15-thousand-300, and hospitalizations decreased to 570.

Lake County reports seven new positive COVID-19 cases today (Wednesday), with 34 recovered cases.  Active cases in Lake County are now at 178.

Active cases decreased some in area counties today (Wednesday) as well.  McCook County now has 134 active COVID-19 cases, Kingsbury County has 104, and Moody County has 89 active cases. Miner County reports 29 active COVID-19 cases, and Brookings County has 381.
