Wednesday COVID-19 update: 6 deaths in state
The state Department of Health reports six additional COVID-19 deaths Wednesday. Two of those deaths are reported in Miner County. Overall, the state has had 1815 people die with COVID-19.
The state reports 175 new positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday. There are currently more than 21-hundred active cases statewide, and 109 people are hospitalized.
Lake County reports one new positive COVID-19 case and three recovered cases Wednesday. The county now has 28 active COVID-19 cases.
Miner County Wednesday has 13 active cases, Kingsbury County has 11, and Moody and McCook Counties each report ten active COVID-19 cases. Brookings County reports 111 active coronavirus cases.
The state Department of Health Wednesday reports that more than 89-thousand people have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while more than 40-thousand have received both doses.
