The state Department of Health reports 34 COVID-19 deaths Wednesday, including one in Lake and one in Moody County.  This increases the state’s total number of virus-related deaths to 1739.  

The state also reports 228 new positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday.  There are currently just more than 32-hundred active cases in the state, and 161 people are hospitalized. 

Lake County has two more positive COVID-19 cases, along with three recovered cases.  Lake County has had 1134 total positive COVID-19 cases, 1065 recovered cases, and seventeen deaths.  There are now 52 active COVID-19 cases in Lake County.

Moody County reports 29 active cases as of Wednesday, and Kingsbury County has 26.  Miner County reports 20 active COVID-19 cases, McCook County has 8, and Brookings County reports 154 active coronavirus cases.
