The state Department of Health reports three more COVID-19 deaths Wednesday.  One of those deaths is a resident from McCook County.  The state’s total number of virus-related deaths is now 1782.

The state also reported just more than 200 new positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday.  There are more than 25-hundred active COVID-19 cases, and 133 people who are hospitalized  because of the virus.

Lake County reports five new positive coronavirus cases Wednesday, along with three recovered cases.  Lake County now has 40 active COVID-19 cases.  

Elsewhere in our area, Miner county reports 21 active cases as of Wednesday, Moody County has 18, and Kingsbury County reports 14 active COVID-19 cases.  McCook County has 8 active cases, and Brookings County reports 128.
